ChatGPT's list doesn't surprise me, as much feels like it carries over from recent years. In particular, the hybrid & remote work debate has been hot since the early days of the pandemic. The question that comes to my mind is: do employers risk the wellbeing and satisfaction of employees to require a return to physical office spaces? If so, what are the consequences? Do they experience a mass talent exodus? Time will tell, but anecdotally it seems clear that those with hybrid or full remote work arrangements have no interest in losing the flexibility their current arrangements offer.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion continue to be heavily politicized. The 2024 election cycle could have an immediate and significant impact. It appears to have already had an impact with some major employers announcing an end to DEI efforts, in spite of research indicating the value of diversity and inclusion on the workplace and outcomes.
